Trafficking is the fastest-growing crime, affecting millions of individuals in every country. It affects people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds, regardless of immigration, socioeconomic level, or family situation. Every year, women, men, children, and animals are trafficked in their own nations and abroad for a number of reasons. Trafficking has no bounds.
The National Anti-Trafficking Committee (NATC) has launched a campaign called "#trafficking-freenation" to raise public awareness about trafficking in all of its manifestations so that people would know when and how to avoid it.
NATC works tirelessly on the National and International fronts to rescue, protect, prevent, and assist trafficked victims with basic requirements, with the continued cooperation of the Central, State, National, and International Governments. As a result, NATC has been successful in reducing the number of trafficking instances worldwide.
NATC also plans to form committees in different states and districts with the support of the superintendent of police, district magistrate, block development officer and social activists.
"Let us work together to make our country free of trafficking."
